Tier 1 entrepreneur refusal on the basis of genuine interview test overturned in appeal

Our client’s application was refused as the home Office was not satisfied that he was a genuine entrepreneur on the basis of his interview.

We were able to convince the First Tier Tribunal Judge that the reasons of refusal on the basis of our client’s answers to the interview were incorrect. The Judge was convinced that the appellant is a genuine entrepreneur who intends to start a business.

Majority of the Tier 1 applications are refused after the interview. It is imperative to note that if an appeal is properly prepared with sufficient reasons countering the reasons of refusal, we can in most cases succeed.
